Hiking almost in the rain

Dan and I hiked the Superstition Wilderness, AZ second water trail on Sunday. Monsoon clouds began to come in during our hike and we saw as they enveloped the area behind us with rain. Somehow we avoided getting rained on, however, and the hike was quite enjoyable. Coming back home, we stopped off at Game Depot. The rain really came down then and I had to navigate many heavily flooded streets in order to get home.

Burgers and Board Games

Yesterday I hosted a burgers and board games day at my house. This event had about half the number of people as my big BBQ last time, but it was planned around the fourth of July. The number of people I had attend this time was much more manageable than last time, as I did not need additional chairs or tables. Hosting the event, I spent time cooking and getting people going into games as needed. I got to play a game of Starcraft later in the night after most people had left. Overall a great time!
